This complete door set has been recreated with a stepped motif, one of the iconic elements of Art Deco design.

The heavy, solid brass doorknobs are fantastic!  They have a high relief stepped design that mimics the backplates, and a stylized sunburst pattern on the front.  To enhance the charm and authenticity, we have kept the minor surface blemishes left by the original sample in our molds.

Available in Polished Unlacquered Brass, mellow brown Antique Brass Finish, silver-tone Nickel Plated, or our matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish.

This is an interior mortise privacy set which locks from one side only using a skeleton key.

Each Set Includes:

  • 1 Doorplate with Knob & Keyhole Function
  • 1 Doorplate with Knob Only Function
  • 2 Doorknobs with the Connecting Spindle
  • 1 Mortise Lock with 2 Skeleton Keys (choice of 2 ¼" or 2 5⁄8" backset)

Measurements:

  • Doorplates:  9" tall x 2 5⁄8" wide.
  • Doorknobs:  2 ¼" tall x 1 ¾" wide; project 2 7⁄8".
  • Mortise Locks:
    • 2 ¼" Backset Lock:
      • Lock Body:  3 ¾" tall x 2 7⁄8" deep x 5⁄8" thick.
      • Faceplate:  1" wide x 6" tall; 3⁄16" thick.
      • Strike Plate:  4 ½" tall x 1" wide (plus tongue).
      • Distance from the center of the doorknob receiver to the center of the round keyhole bit is 2 ¼".
    • 2 5⁄8" Backset Lock:
      • Lock Body:  3 ¾" tall x 3 3⁄16" deep, and 5⁄8" thick.
      • Faceplate:  1" wide x 6" tall; 3⁄16" thick.
