Around 1885, Reading Hardware Company produced the very popular Windsor door hardware line. The finest Victorian homes rushed to upgrade to the stylish design.
This door set is hand finished in a choice of our Antique Brass Finish (pictured) or our matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish.
The interior mortise privacy set locks from one side only using a turnbolt operator.
The Complete Set Includes:
- One Door Plate with Doorknob & Turnlatch Function
- One Door Plate with Doorknob Only Function
- Two Doorknobs with the Connecting Spindle
- One Mortise Lock with Turnlatch Function (choice of 2 ¼" or 2 5⁄8" backset)
Measurements:
- Door Plate with Turnlatch: 4 1⁄8" tall x 1 5⁄8" wide.
- "Knob Only" Door Plate: 3 15⁄16" tall x 1 5⁄8" wide.
- Doorknobs: 2 1⁄8" diameter; each projects 2".

2 ¼" Backset Lock:
- Lock Body: 3 ¾" tall x 2 7⁄8" deep x 5⁄8" thick.
- Faceplate: 1" wide x 6" tall; 3⁄16" thick.
- Strike Plate: 4 ½" tall x 1" wide (plus tongue).
- Distance from the center of the turnlatch receiver to the center of the doorknob spindle hub is 2 ½".

- Lock Body: 3 ¾" tall x 3 3⁄16" deep, and 5⁄8" thick.
- Faceplate: 1" wide x 6" tall; 3⁄16" thick.

- Distance from the center of the turnlatch receiver to the center of the doorknob spindle hub is 2 ½".

Set can be flipped with the turnlatch above the doorknob or below the doorknob.
