Classic design letter slot with strong spring-activated door to protect against wind and precipitation.

The letter slot mounts with two all threads with brass acorn cap nuts on 9 ¾" centers.  Sink the acorn nuts below the surface of the wood, then mount the included replica backplate over the slot on the inside of the door for a nice finished appearance.

Letter Slot Measurements:

• Overall:  11 ½" wide x 3 ¾" tall.
• Doorway:  7 ¾" wide by 1 ¾" tall.
• Mounting bolt size is 1/4" diameter, 20 threads per inch.

Backplate Measurements:

• Outside Dimensions:  11 ½" wide by 3 ¾" tall.
• Opening:  8 ½" wide by 2" tall.

Each set contains one spring-loaded letter slot, and one backplate.

Mounting screws and threaded bolts are also included.
