Art\/Crafts\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tWe were fortunate to obtain five of these fantastic original\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tbank or commercial building lights.  We have restored one, at this time,\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tand we are offering it now.  If multiples are desired,  we can accomodate\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\twith some restoration time.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tThe metal is steel and iron with some minor brass elements all finished\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tout in an old gold finish.   Naturally,  with time,  this old gold has become like\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\ta worn persian carpet...i.e...a bit muted and a little thin here and there.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tBut...being purests at  heart,  we are NOT re-doing the gold and leaving it\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tas cleaned up a little.  It is an antique after all.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tThe large rim has 20 sockets with a diameter of 48 1\/2”\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tThe small rim has only 4 socket with a diameter of 18”\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tPresent height is 55” but can be shorten by as much as 15” if desired.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tNaturally...it also can be lengthened to any length.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tCompletely re-wired to UL standards in our UL shop with new bakelite sockets.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tEach socket capable of 100 watt incandescent bulb.   We only put a 40 watt bulb\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tinto each socket but much larger wattages,  ball shades,  are available if a total\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tof 960 watts is not deemed sufficient.  Bulb “do” come with the fixture.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tWhen this fixture was originally built,  there was not much of a UL to speak of....so they\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tplayed fast and loose with the wiring.   But, we are a UL shop,  and cannot do that.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tSo, in the re-wiring of this antique,  we separated the lights into three circuits and added a \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tground wire for the internal wire used.  \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tAll new porcelain sockets were installed and now this item is \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\ttruly up to modern code.   \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tAll three circuits come together in the canopy where one #12 wire unites\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tthe three circuits for installation.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tA heavy duty mounting kit will be supplied.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tSimply a great find for that classic ambiance returned.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tGoing onto the net...and looking up 20s banks and commercial buildings,\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tthis type of light will often be found in several of those old pictures.  Where did\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tthey all go ?   We have found very few indeed.  Especially in multiples.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\tPrice:  $2,450.00 each plus shipping costs.\u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"0","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49997391692013,"sku":"ANT-454","price":2450.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0813\/5799\/6269\/files\/ANT-454F.jpg?v=1779310060","url":"https:\/\/jn2vnf-0i.myshopify.com\/products\/large-bare-bulb-1920-s-bank-chandelier","provider":"Vintage Hardware \u0026 Lighting","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
