Decorated sections are each a foot in length...therefore...we could shorten (or lengthen) easily by even increments of those décor panels.  This is not a limitation, as other lengths can be achieved...only a convenience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery aspect of this chandelier screams DECO.  The bottom center shade was especially made for this chandelier, and was subsequently used on our \u003ca href=\"\/products\/art-deco-flush-mount-ceiling-bowl-light\"\u003ematching flush mount close ceiling light\u003c\/a\u003e.  The outer bowl panels are enlarged designs of our 16\" diameter \u003ca href=\"\/products\/art-deco-manhattan-tall-chandelier\"\u003etall Manhattan\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"\/products\/art-deco-manhattan-close-ceiling-chandelier\"\u003eshort Manhattan\u003c\/a\u003e chandeliers for a perfect match, so large and smaller chandeliers can be used together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe glass panels are Deco style rough-dot design that are held in place with Nylon stops and Nylon threads to protect the glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe center uprights are an elongated elaboration of the panels for a matching design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe larger-than-normal ceiling canopy makes a complete matching statement.   Even the 3-lobed finial is a repeat of Deco design, and also serves as the functional part that holds the chandelier to the ceiling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bottom shade is removable by three pyramid-shaped set screws, which can be removed by hand for access to the four, 100-watt E-12 sockets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe light sockets for the eight large outer glass panels can be either E-26 medium base incandescent, GU-10 for LED, or even E-39 mogul base sockets for more powerful LED lighting.
