It was shown in the Lightolier 1933 catalog for Builders, Architects and Decorators. Lightolier called the series that used these neat heavy opal glass shades: the “Luxart” series. We are now growing this Luxart series into a complete matching line of lighting.

We first reproduced the original smaller fixture: 237-CH and matching sconce 236-ES. Then we made a larger two-tier chandelier 238-2T-CH (28” diameter) and now this biggest chandelier...our 240-3T-CH.

This three-tier impressive chandelier simply demands attention. The largest bottom tier of shades has 50” in diameter with a standard height of 91”, but can be extended for any application.

The 50 recreated opal shades are thick and imposing glass…not acrylic. Within the body, there are 17 medium base sockets to be powered up or down depending on the amount of light desired.

This frame has been created of aluminum, with internal…un-seen steel supports sections. A perfect “quality” streamline chandelier for the important entry way or room. And while it is shown, and normally supplied in it’s aluminum color as Lightolier did originally, it can also be supplied in an “Old Gold’ finish for a slight extra processing fee.

It’s big and impressive and it weighs in at 300 lbs. as shown.

Measurements: 50” diameter with a 91” height as shown. A heavy duty, special designed, UL mounting kit will be supplied.

We are considering making more variations of this design, and if you have a more preferred design using these components, let’s discuss it.

Price: $18,500.00 complete, plus crated freight.

*If you need replacement slip shades, they can be found by clicking here.

*This new product is made to order.
