Cast backplates have a Hi\/Low antique pewter finish with great design detail as can be seen from the one picture of the “frame only” of one of the pair.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tThe amber shades are really quite interesting. Heavy cast glass with a heavy embossed rib pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tElectrical: The sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal medium based sockets, for everyday medium base bulbs, were installed in each. The sconces mount with one normal sconce mounting all thread to a normal electrical box from the center of the case.
