Circa 1935. Mid-West was located in Kansas City and had a reputation for making quality lighting. As proof, it did survive the Great Depression to be sold off to Thomas Industries only a couple of years ago.

The metal of the series has a nice original antique old-gold and cream/yellowish finish in excellent condition. This was a standard finish for streamline offerings of many lighting companies during the depression.

Mid-West did offer various finishes and this was popular in the Deco era....and...it IS the original finish. Naturally, it is showing it’s age a bit but just like normal antiques.

All amber shades are in very nice condition with just a tiny bit of roughness that reflects their age.
