{"product_id":"antique-wall-sconces-w-seashell-motif-amber-color-shades-circa-1920s","title":"Antique Wall Sconces w\/ Seashell Motif Amber Color Shades Circa 1920s (ANT-528)","description":"\u003cp\u003e\r\n\t\u003cb\u003e\u003cfont size=\"2\"\u003eANT-528\u003c\/font\u003e  Twenties Era Wall Sconces..a Pair\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tLovely set of Circa 1920s wall sconces.  Original antique sconces with amazing shell motif antique amber shades.  These sconces have a lovely before-Depression pewter look, and a great design that is so typical of the Twenties motif.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tThe amber shell motif shades are so very nice.  They are a cast glass, with a deep pattern that is nicely shaped.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tAdmirable is how the shapes are all tied together.  There is a scroll on the backplate, repeated with a scroll on the shade fitter and finial too.  Even the tops of the shades repeat this curve to tie all the decorative elements together.  A nice presentation.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tThe metal of the backplates is cast metal with a lovely LIGHT pewter finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tReady to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice.  We would recommend our \u003ca href=\"\/products\/led-1-6-watt-light-bulb-25-watt-equivalent-round-globe-shape-non-dimmable\"\u003eLED bulbs 45G-E26B\u003c\/a\u003e if you wish for ambient light, rather than full room power. The shade is of a low type, and these bulbs would fit perfectly.  The ambiance of these bulbs is warm, and they draw so little electricity (1.6 watts) that we have known folks that leave them on 24\/7.
