Because of that, there are no wire-ways for electrical wires in the arms. You do not need much more than a pin hole, in the arm, for a gas supply but pin holes, and convoluted shapes, do not allow wires to pass. Because of that, and not wishing to destroy a fine antique, you will note that rayon covered twisty wires are used on the outside of the arms for the electrical supply. We have left them visible...but they could be tucked against the arm if you desire to do so. It is the dilemma when re-wiring original gas antique fixtures.

The center cupid figures also have some blemishes at their base...which cannot be seen when hung..but we mention it. Antiques.

The shades are outstanding cut glass with design in very fine condition. This chandelier has been re-wired in our UL shop with all new sockets and wiring and is ready to hang and light-up. Simply a breath-taking example of early period lighting.

Measurements: This fine chandelier is 21” in diameter. It hangs 31” tall. We realize that this height might be too short for a few high ceiling Victorian homes...so we could extend it with a true rococo brass twisted tube to your desired height for a small additional charge.

Prices for original antique rococo chandeliers are all over the map. Usually, dealers won’t divulge their prices until you pick up the phone and commit to listening to a sales pitch. Our prices can be half or even up to FIVE times less than other dealer prices but we feel a fair return is fair for all.

Price: French Original Gas Chandelier with cut glass shades: $3,500.00 plus crating and shipping fees.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0813/5799/6269/files/ANT-1212_a__Antique-French-6-Shade-Circa-1850-1870-Gas-Chandelier.jpg?v=1779229339
