These frames are made from cast iron and have a pewter contrasting finish. These frames do show some casting roughness per the antique hand-crafted castings and they are shown, by themselves, in one picture. Most normal for antiques.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\r\n\tThese sconces have been completely re-wired, in our UL shop, with new sockets to conform to UL guidelines. Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb. Each sconce has a rotary on\/off switch replaced to match the ones used in the 30's.
